ITF and IOC publish Paris 2024 Olympic Tennis Event Qualification System



The International Tennis Federation (ITF) and International Olympic Committee (IOC) have today published the details of the Qualification System for the Paris 2024 Olympic Tennis Event.


All players must satisfy key criteria to be deemed eligible, including being in good standing with their national association and the ITF and playing the required number of Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup ties. Both singles events will consist of a draw of 64, with a maximum of four players per nation. There will be 56 direct acceptances based on ATP and WTA singles rankings, one host country place, six final qualification places (‘ITF places’) and one universality place. Both doubles events will consist of a draw of 32, with a maximum of two teams per nation. 16 teams will contest the mixed doubles event with one team per nation.
