long-term partnerships : Eurovision and SPAR International

European Athletics President Dobromir Karamarinov and European Athletics CEO Christian Milz hosted breakfast meetings on the occasion of the European Athletics Championships 2022 in Munich to celebrate long-term partnerships with EBU/Eurovision and SPAR International. The celebratory meetings were planned for last year, but postponed to this year due to the on-going COVID-19 challenges. Year 2021 marked the 40th anniversary of the EBU partnership, which commenced in 1981, and 25 years of partnership with SPAR which has been the principal sponsor of European Athletics since 1996. President Karamarinov also took the opportunity to thank long-term partner Le Gruyère for supporting European Athletics since 2008.
