[Media-cop26-glasgow] State of Climate in 2021: Extreme events and major impacts to be presented 31
WMO releases its provisional report on the State of the Global Climate 2021 on 31 October on the opening day of COP26 in Glasgow. This is a multi-agency report with information and data until the end of September 2021. It has information on key climate indicators like temperatures, extreme weather, ocean heat and acidification, sea level rise, sea ice and glaciers. It also highlights socio-economic impacts, including on food security, displacement and ecosystems. WMO wishes to thank all partners who contributed.
