Week 28 Preview: Bastad, Newport

The action will take place on two continents and on two different surfaces this week on the ATP Tour, with established stars competing on clay at the Nordea Open in Bastad, and on grass at the Infosys Hall of Fame Open in Newport.

Casper Ruud headlines the field in Bastad as he aims to retain his title, while Andrey Rublev and Dominic Thiem will make their tournament debuts. Diego Schwartzman, Roberto Bautista Agut and Pablo Carreno Bautista are also seeded at the ATP 250 event.

In Newport, Felix Auger-Aliassime is the top seed on event debut, former World No. 1 Andy Murray is in the field for the first time since 2006, and John Isner is chasing his fifth title at the grass-court ATP 250 tournament.
