WHAT'S ON AT CULTURE SUMMIT 2022
The sixth Edinburgh International Culture Summit is now in full swing, and we are thrilled to be welcoming artists, Culture Ministers and global influencers from all over the world back to Scottish Parliament, to discuss and share ideas with a view to inspiring positive change.
During yesterday's Opening Plenary, we heard from artists, ministers and cultural leaders, whose speeches discussed the themes of the Summit - Culture & Education, Culture & Sustainability and Culture & Freedom. We heard about the importance of protecting cultural heritage and identity, specifically Ukrainian culture, in a number of moving and inspirational speeches.
In this newsletter you can hear from Sir Jonathan Mills, who talks about the last 10 years of the Summit, we spotlight the work that abdrn, our corporate partner is doing to combat climate change, and we hear more about The Nile Project in an interview with Founder and CEO, Mina Girgis.
Tune into Live from the Culture Summit, a series of interactive panel discussions that are broadcast across our channels daily.
